Morning buses arrive at 7:00 AM.  Afternoon buses are boarded at 2:10 PM and depart by 2:20 PM.  All buses are located in the parking lot next to the cafeteria.

School bus transportation is a privilege.  Students may be removed from the bus for inappropriate behavior. Each student must ride the bus he/she is assigned. Any emergency or special request to ride a bus other than the child’s assigned bus must be made in writing by the parent/guardian and submitted to the school’s front office and homeroom teacher no later than the morning of the change. Bus drivers are allowed to drop-off students only at designated locations approved through the DeKalb County School District’s Transportation Department. All requests for alternate bus stop locations are initiated and handled by the parent/guardian directly through the school district’s transportation department. The bus driver is in charge of the bus and its occupants. Students riding the bus must comply with the driver’s requests and follow the DeKalb County School District’s bus rules. If rules are broken three times, the student will be suspended from the bus. If a child is suspended from the bus, an administrator will contact the parent/guardian, and the parent/guardian will be responsible for providing transportation to and from school throughout the child’s bus suspension. 

 

Car rider drop-off and pick-up locations are in front of the school. Students are dropped-off between 7:00 AM - 7:40 AM and picked-up between 2:15 PM - 2:35 PM.  For the safety of our staff and students, parents must remain in their cars at all times during drop-off/pick-up. Please follow the car rider FLOW OF TRAFFIC CHART below.  If a parent chooses to walk his/her child into the building, the parent must park in the parking lot. Students are tardy at 7:41 AM. In this case parents must park and come into the school’s front office to sign-in their child(ren). 

 

 

Campus Portal is a confidential and secure website that provides parents, students, and staff with real-time access to information to better understand, monitor, and participate in the educational process. Parent portal provides access to assignments, grades, class schedules, and contact information. Parents must use Infinite Campus Parent Portal to register new students and complete annual verification for returning students.  All parents must have an active account.
