Elementary schools follow an 18-week grade reporting system. Students are issued progress reports every 4.5 weeks. Deficiencies are sent home with progress reports for all N’s and failing grades. Deficiencies serve as written plans for students to improve academic and/or conduct performance before the end-of-semester report card. End-of-semester report cards are sent home in January after the winter break and on the last day of school.
Note: Students with outstanding cafeteria, library, textbook, and/or after school program balances at the end of the school year will pick-up their report card when balances are cleared.
Grading Scale
A - 90-100 P - Pass
B - 80-89 F – Fail
C - 71-79 S – Satisfactory
D - 70 U - Unsatisfactory
N – Needs Improvement
