The mission of the Smoke Rise Media Center is to ensure that all students are effective users of ideas and information and to encourage students to be lifelong learners. This is accomplished by:

• Providing access to a variety of materials that both support the school curriculum and stimulate personal interests

• Supporting the school's curriculum and reading initiatives 

• Integrating information literacy skills instruction through collaboration with teachers
