Student Uniform Policy

Smoke Rise Elementary is committed to providing students with the best positive learning experience in a safe environment. We believe standard dress code has a positive impact on students’ learning and behavior in and around the school, serves to unite students, increases school pride, and eliminates class barriers expressed by clothing and dress. All attire should reflect the high standards of the learning environment.

Uniforms: We are a uniform school. Students wear their school uniform daily. Shirts and blouses should be yellow, white, pink, or blue. Pants, shorts, skirts, and jumpers should be khaki or navy blue. Students may wear shoes of their choice; however, flip flops, skates, high heels, Crocs, open toe, and open back shoes are NOT allowed. For more detailed information, please refer to the Uniform Policy pamphlet

Spirit Wear Fridays: Students are encouraged to show their school pride by wearing Smoke Rise Spirit Wear t-shirts and jeans every Friday. The dress code guidelines comply with the DeKalb County School District guidelines published in the Student Code of Conduct. Students must adhere to DeKalb County School District’s dress code requirements.
